Warrington Beach is patrolled by volunteer lifeguards in the weekends from November to March every year. The Regional Lifeguard Service also operates at Warrington during the school summer holidays on Mondays to Fridays, 11am to 7pm.

Warrington SLSC is also able to provide a lifeguarding service for events. Please direct any enquiries to warringtonslscnz@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

A summary of the popular available courses is provided below. Some of these courses have prerequisites that must be met first so it is best to let us know if you want to work towards one in particular so we can help you get there.

Further Training
We welcome anyone interested in becoming a lifeguard to contact us on warringtonslscnz@gmail.com. We run multiple courses throughout the season depending on demand and love teaching people the skills required to join us on patrols. You can become qualified as a lifeguard anytime after the age of 14, and we often have many adults completing the training course as well so don't be afraid to give it a go! If you aren't sure whether it is for you but would like to see what it's all about, you are more than welcome to come along to a few training sessions before deciding whether to continue to the exam. Click here to view more information about the Surf Lifeguard Award, including the training manual.
